Fareen Khatoon, hailing from Barbil in Keonjhar district, Odisha, embarked on a transformative journey that reshaped her future and inspired those around her. Raised in a family of six siblings, with her parents managing a modest grocery store, Fareen's dream was to support her family while achieving self-reliance. Unlike her siblings, Fareen was drawn to the technical field and pursued an ITI course in Electrician trade from Government ITI, Barbil. Her dedication and potential caught the attention of her teacher, who introduced her to the SANDVIK job training program. With the teacher’s encouragement and guidance from SANDVIK and TeamLease, Fareen's parents were convinced to support her participation in the program.
